The story of Andreas, 42 years old, Munich
Honestly? I was burned out.
Own business, two kids, constant deadlines. My wife said, "You don't even relax at home—you just stare at your phone." And she was right.
I tried it. The gym—but I lacked energy after work. A massage once a month—but that wasn't the right thing. Wellness centers—queues, strangers, driving halfway across town.
I was missing a place where I could just... switch off.
I was scrolling through Instagram at 2 a.m. (couldn't sleep again) and saw an ad for a mobile sauna from Thermowood Production.
First thought: "That's for rich people." Second: "I don't have room for it." Third: "And why would I even bother?"
But something touched me. I messaged via Viber, simply out of curiosity.
The guys responded in 10 minutes (at 2 a.m.!). No pressure, simply explained. It turned out:
I talked to my wife. She was skeptical at first, but then she said, "You know what? We both need this."
The sauna was delivered on Thursday. We already had a sauna on Friday evening.
The first time:
I went inside and sat down on the bench. The scent of pinewood mingled with the aroma of eucalyptus (my wife had added herbs). The warmth enveloped me slowly, not burning—it simply penetrated gently into every cell.
I closed my eyes. And suddenly I realized: I'm not thinking about work. Not at all.
I just sit. Breathe. And that's... wonderful.
After 20 minutes, I emerged feeling as if I'd just shed 10 kilos from my shoulders. My body relaxed, my mind clear, my soul at peace.
My wife cried. Not out of grief—out of relief. "I had forgotten what it was like—to simply recover," she said.

Two months have passed. What has changed?
For me:
For the family:
Surprises:

This isn't a miracle cure. The problems at work haven't disappeared. Nor have the bills.
But now I have a place where I can "restart."
Like a cell phone—if you don't charge it, it simply turns off. I was at 5% battery. Now it's a stable 80%.
Is it worth it?
When my wife says in the morning, "You're smiling again" — yes, a thousand times yes.
When my 8-year-old son asks, "Dad, can we go to the sauna together today?" — yes.
If I fall asleep in 10 minutes instead of mulling over things for 2 hours, yes, that is the best investment of the year.
A month ago I said to a friend, "The best thing I did this year is I bought a sauna."
He laughed: "Seriously? A sauna?"
I replied, "I didn't buy a sauna. I bought peace. Health. Time with family. And my own place where I can be myself again."
He fell silent. A week later, he wrote: "Give me the contacts of those Thermowood people."
