What is thermally modified wood?

Thermowood is natural wood that has undergone special heat treatment at a temperature of 160–220°C without the use of chemicals. As a result, moisture and resins evaporate from the wood, its structure changes, and its technical characteristics improve.

The price of thermally modified wood is higher than that of regular wood due to the complex and energy-intensive processing process, as well as the limited choice of raw materials (only high-quality wood without defects is used).

But it fully justifies itself :

• Does not require frequent repairs or replacement of elements
• Less maintenance required
• It has a premium look even after 10 years of use
